Today is Memorial Day. While many people will solely be thinking of this day as a paid day off, let us not forget that its actually a day to commemorate the men and woman who sacrificed their lives in an effort to ensure our country's freedoms.
Irregardless of the political reasons behind engaging our troops in certain conflicts, I am proud of our servicemen for all of their efforts and pray for those that have been injured or sacrificed their lives to protect us. I also pray for the families of these servicemen and wish them all of the strength in the world.
